GRDC Grains Research Updates in the Northern Region are coming to you live and online this July/August/September as they continue to deliver the latest research to you despite the continuing social distancing restrictions due to COVID-19.
This event is part of a series of five weekly online events are designed specifically for growers and advisers in Southern and Central NSW and will run on Thursdays at 9am.
Thursday 13 August – Farming systems (Southern NSW)
- Farming systems: profit, water, nutritional and disease implications of different crop sequences and system intensities in SNSW – John Kirkegaard (CSIRO)
- Long fallow and brown manure crops in SNSW systems – pro’s, con’s and profit impacts – Chris Minehan (RMS Farm Consultants)
- Linking soil characteristics with production limitations in central southern New South Wales – Belinda Hackney (NSW DPI)
