North Coast Local Land Services (LLS) are delivering a series of in-person information sessions across the region in April and May

Topics include:

  • Results from the latest North Coast Cattle Drench Trial –The future is here – emerging drench resistance.
  • Practical Parasite testing for cattle – How, when and why test for worms and liver fluke.
  • Pasture Dieback – Update and discussion on local trial results
  • Fall armyworm – Identification and control options. What we have seen so far and what we are expecting.
  • Filling the Winter feed Gap – Winter cereals or ryegrass?What annual forage crops best suit your operation?
  • Beef Focus Farms – Investigating Rotational Grazing Systems.
  • Recycled Organics Material – Using compost for improving soil health in the North Coast Beef Industry.

Focus is pasture dieback, including a paddock walk on an affected property.

Due to COVID-19, numbers attending each workshop are limited, bookings are essential. Bookings close three days prior to each in-person workshop. Tea and coffee provided. Addresses for each event, will be provided upon registration.
