This webinar is being held as part of the Smarter Irrigation for Profit II project. TOPICS include Best practices to determine irrigation requirements and scheduling including three ways to generate a water budget using available technology: 1 – Water budgets using freely available weather and soils information to build a water budget. 2 – IrriPasture a free web based platform that uses local weather data to enhance water budgets and irrigation scheduling decisions 3 – SWAN systems emerging technology that uses crop models, soil type, climate, season and irrigation system details to determine water and nutrient requirements and scheduling What are the features and cost benefits of these current and new technologies.
