This nationally accredited training provides an introduction to agronomy covering the key concepts involved in growing cotton and how to tailor your agronomy with the latest industry information from industry experts. The course focuses on local profitability through regionally-based training relevant to local climate soils and markets.

What does the course consist of?

Workshop 1

  • two-day interactive session including practical demonstrations
  • time: 8.30am to 4.30pm
  • commencement of farm based assessment task
  • introduction to the online module*

Workshop 2

  • half-day interactive field-based session
  • time: 8.30am to 12.30pm

*online module to be completed and submitted for assessment prior to workshop 2
