The cattle transport costs calculator gives producers access to an easy to use an online tool to assist them in calculating their livestock transport costs.
The calculator includes the following options:
1) Live weight or dressed weight calculations
2) Cost per km travelled
3) Number of km to travel
4) Average animal liveweight
5) Number of livestock
6) If a minimum fee was quoted by a carrier
The results that are given are cost per head of cattle, cost in cents per kg and total cost in dollars.
