DESCRIPTION:As part of the Technical Symposium event week\, APAL will host the Technical Symposium Masterclass Series – a set of group learning sessions designed to enhance orchard business operations. \nTaking place on the Monday preceding the main Technical Symposium presentations day\, the Masterclass Series offers attendees the opportunity to take a deep dive into two of four key topics\, delivered across a morning and afternoon sessions. \nThe Masterclasses Series topics are as follows: \nMorning session (9:00am–12:00pm) \n\nMasterclass One – Budgets and cashflow planning with Ross Wilson from AgFirst (AM only)\nMasterclass Two – IPDM with Stephen Tancred from Orchard Services\nMasterclass Three – Sprayer calibration with David Manktelow from Applied Research NZ and Jonathan Brookes from AgFirst\n\nAfternoon session (1:00pm–4:00pm) \n\nMasterclass Four – Postharvest management with Dr Hannah James from Agrofresh (PM only)\nMasterclass Five – IPDM with Stephen Tancred from Orchard Services\nMasterclass Six – Sprayer calibration with David Manktelow from Applied Research NZ and Jonathan Brookes from AgFirst\n\nAttendees can choose to purchase a morning or an afternoon session ticket\, or a full-day ticket that includes two sessions. \nThe masterclasses will run concurrently and attendees can only attend one morning masterclass topic and one afternoon masterclass topic.
