Attendees will gain practical insights into crop management\, weed control\, soil nutrition\, disease management\, new crop varieties and farming systems relevant to the Wimmera-Mallee region. \nThe day provides an opportunity to see research in action\, discuss emerging challenges and opportunities with experts\, and connect with peers from across the grains industry. Topics will include yield optimisation\, herbicide innovation\, environmental resilience and strategies to support profitable and sustainable farming businesses. \nAgriFutures Export Fodder Program researchers\, Mick Faulkner and Kylie Chambers will be presenting their research regarding improving productivity and weather damage risk mitigation strategies.
