The NSW Department of Primary Industries (DPI) is taking steps to help ensure the health and safety of our staff, stakeholders and the community in response to the emergence of coronavirus COVID-19.
Based on the advice of both Federal and State Governments, the NSW DPI is taking a precautionary approach to postpone scheduled face-to-face events and workshops until further notice. Further details will be provided when available.
We have taken a range of steps to ensure business continuity so we are able to continue to deliver our critical programs and services.

The Young Farmer Business Program’s Getting Started workshop series addresses the needs of young farmers and fishers who are entering business for the first time. Our experts will help young farmers and fishers build their knowledge around banks and finance approval, choosing the right business structure and measuring business performance and profit! We have accountants explaining the world of taxation and bankers uncovering the mysteries of loans. The Young Farmer Business Program also hosts Startup Stories, engaging business meetups with guest speakers to inspire, grow and connect communities of young farmers, fishers and agribusiness professionals. Our program is constantly evolving, developing new concepts and trialling different workshops, so make sure you keep checking back to see what we’re up to next!
We’re always on the lookout for local champions to help us roll out our events and workshops across NSW. If you bring the crowd, we’ll do the rest! Just drop us a line at email@example.com if you’d like us to bring an event or workshop to your neighbourhood.
