On Farm Connectivity Program Round 3
The On-Farm Connectivity Program Round 3 (the program) will operate for one year during 2025-26. As part of the Better Connectivity Plan for Regional and Rural Australia, the program supports Primary Producers in leveraging digital agribusiness solutions to enhance productivity and improve safety on farms.
The program aims to achieve the following objectives:
- Extend digital connectivity to enable the adoption of advanced farming technologies.
- Enhance Primary Producers’ capacity to implement digital agribusiness solutions by improving connectivity.
- Unlock the agricultural sector’s potential for increased productivity and economic growth.
- Support access to new communication equipment by offsetting part of the associated costs.
The intended outcomes of the program include:
- Greater investment in equipment to support agricultural operations.
- Increased efficiency, competitiveness, productivity, and profitability within the agricultural sector.
- Improved safety on farms.
- Broader adoption of advanced farming technologies.
- Enhanced digital literacy and understanding of advanced farming tools.
