QLD: Special Disaster Assistance Recovery Grants – Primary Producer

  • Carpentaria Shire Council
  • Cloncurry Shire Council
  • Douglas Shire Council
  • Flinders Shire Council
  • Hinchinbrook Shire Council
  • McKinlay Shire Council
  • Richmond Shire Council
  • Townsville City Council
  • Winton Shire Council

If your primary production enterprise suffered direct damage as a result of the North and Far North Queensland Monsoon Trough, 25 January – 14 February 2019, grants are available from QRIDA to assist your enterprise to pay for costs of clean-up and reinstatement activities. Please note applications has been extended to 30 June 2020.

Special Disaster Assistance Recovery Grants up to a maximum of $75,000 are available to assist eligible primary producers to assist with clean-up and reinstatement costs.

Key Criteria:

To be eligible for assistance you must own a primary production enterprise located in one of the ‘defined disaster areas’ for the relevant disaster.
