Monarch Tractors have just raised $133m this week with an eye to expand their all-electric autonomous tractors and machines, more here. Monarch Tractors as well as others such as CNH New Holland and Case IH are about to launch electric tractors into the Swiss market. The New Holland T4 Electric Power, which has a rated output of 75 hp (55 kW), was developed together with Monarch Tractor. Interestingly, Verizon Communications are now working with Monarch Tractor to assist with tractor autonomy.
