Greg Johnsson and Andrew Roberts created the Farm Owners Academy in 2015 to simplify the complexity of running a farming business. Their methods have been tried and tested in Australian Farming Businesses for over 35 years and are proven to help you experience more profit, more control, and more freedom.

Greg has had a lifetime of experience as a business owner and specialist sheep and cattle production consultant. Greg’s passion for improving enterprise productivity and profitability for farmers started when he trained as a veterinary surgeon and has spanned the last 37 years.

Greg has also been a farmer, managing the family farm on Kangaroo Island in the 1980s and 1990s whilst establishing his veterinary business, the Kangaroo Island Veterinary Clinic. With partner Deb Lehmann, Greg managed 650 breeding cows and a Limousin stud.  He is also a Sheep Genetics Services provider and provides the software development “grunt” behind Elite Innovation Co’s ‘BreedElite’ sheep performance recording software and its innovative Smart Draft‘n’Weigh system.

Andrew grew up on a farm in New England, NSW.  Since witnessing the gruelling work, long hours and huge stress his father endured on their New England wool farm, Andrew has a deep-rooted passion to improve the lives of fellow farmers and their families. He utilises his 20 years’ experience to teach the business skills farmers require to earn more money, gain more control, and achieve more freedom.

Andrew has dedicated his career to helping business owners and their teams succeed. He has a passion for business and an obsession with mindset and implementation. Andrew is driven to help people be well rewarded whilst doing work they love; with people they like; the way they want.

With over 20 years’ experience as a coach and mentor to some of the biggest companies in Australia, Andrew is well-equipped to help business leaders and everyday people achieve business and financial mastery. He also walks his talk. Prior to co-founding Farm Owners Academy, Andrew built and sold two of his own million-dollar companies.
