Poultry Knowledge Hubs

Farm Table says:

The following are excellent knowledgehubs that are dedicated to supporting the Australian poultry industry, connecting producers, researchers, and other stakeholders.

To ensure continued growth and sustainability, poultry farmers need access to the latest knowledge, resources, and best practices

Poultry Hub Australia

Poultry Hub Australia (PHA) brings together relevant and curated agricultural resources, making it a go-to source for farmers, agribusinesses, peak bodies, universities, and industry organizations. More than just a repository of information, PHA fosters a collaborative space where members can connect, share insights, and build a stronger, more resilient, and productive agricultural sector. PHA provides opportunities for industry and researchers to connect through organized annual events and facilitated workshops with the aim to develop ideas for future projects.

The platform offers resources for primary and secondary schools, aiming to stimulate interest in poultry science and address misconceptions about poultry production.

Industry Associations: Advocacy and Resources

The Australian Chicken Meat Federation (ACMF) is the peak council representing all elements of the chicken meat industry. The main aim of the ACMF is to promote and represent the interests of the chicken meat industry. Similarly, the Australian Chicken Growers Council (ACGC) serves as the peak body representing chicken and turkey growers on a national level. These associations advocate for the interests of their members, develop industry standards, and provide valuable resources and networking opportunities. NSW Department of Primary Industries engages with Australian Eggs, Australian Chicken Meat Federation, Poultry Hub, Egg Farmers of Australia, Australian Chicken Growers Council, the Australasian Turkey Federation, and the Australian Duck Meat Association to support the poultry sector.
