Carbon and low emissions farming

To celebrate International Women’s Day, Corangamite Rural Women’s Network is hosting a special on-farm event and lunch to share information and learned experience about carbon and low-emissions farming.

Hosted by Fiona Conroy on the Bellarine Peninsula near St Leonards, topics include carbon and sustainable farming, agriculture industry sustainability frameworks, sector pledges, the GAF tool, and the importance of farm data.

We will also explore Corangamite Catchment Management Authority’s (CMA) sustainable agriculture programs and how you can become involved.

  • Fiona Conroy – beef and sheep farmer, Knewleave Partnership
  • Alison Kelly – farm emissions specialist, Agriculture Victoria
  • Sarah Brien – sustainable agriculture senior projects officer, Corangamite CMA
