- Pete Burgess, Partner – Corporate Finance at Grant Thornton
Pete specialises in corporate advisory including Merger & Acquisition (M&A) advisory (sell side, buy side and capital raise advisory), Strategic Review and Implementation and Scale Advisory. Pete is deeply passionate and active in the Australian Agribusiness Industry. He has experience across many verticals in this sector including broadacre farming, livestock, irrigation, horticulture, stockfeed, aquaculture, AgTech and FoodTech.
- James Murfett, Director – Private Credit and Agriculture Portfolio Manager at Merricks Capital
James is responsible for all aspects of agriculture investment including origination, structuring, execution and portfolio management. Prior to joining Merricks Capital, James held a number of investment advisory roles in both Australia and the United Kingdom, with a particular focus on M&A transactions. James holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting. James’ interest in the agriculture sector stems from his upbringing on their mixed grazing and cropping farm in northern Tasmania.
- Todd Winkley, Vice President – Food and Agriculture at ROC Partners
Todd is responsible for origination, execution, and ongoing management of investment opportunities in the Food and Agriculture team, with over 10 years’ experience in the sector. Prior to joining Roc Partners, Todd worked for a PSP Investments subsidiary investing in horticulture and fresh produce. Todd holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Queensland and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
